Using our research the team at FighterAces built the pattern using traditional modelling techniques. Instilling all the character of the original down to the last rivet, panel line and panel deformation.

The Pattern was scanned using ‘Blue Light’ technology then sent to our composite partner to be tooled ready for the manufacture of composite pre-preg components.

The pattern has over 100,000 hand applied rivets and every panel deformation has been painstakingly modelled giving the pattern all the character of the original aircraft.

The team at PES Performance scanned the pattern allowing us to accurately design the internal structure, ski mechanisms and scale detail.

Manufacture
Components have been designed to the highest tolerances manufactured from aerospace grade Aluminium, Stainless Steel and Titanium.

All composite components are made using pre-preganted carbon or glass fibres, cured in an autoclave under temperature and pressure giving us the strongest parts possible.

All of the detail incorporated into the pattern has been captured perfectly in the tooling with the components displaying crisp detailing straight from the tooling.
